The death of legendary highlife musician Nana Kwame Ampadu has been confirmed by news reaching Kwesi TV.
He's supposed to have passed away today.
The cause of death has not yet been determined.

His music is well-liked by both children and adults.
The Obo-Kwahu native from the Eastern Region wrote and recorded songs on money, love and marriage, good citizenship, greed, inebriation, death, commercial driver etiquette, effective parenting, social stratification, and nearly every element of our lives in our country.
At various eras, songs such as Ebi Ti Yie, Aku Sika, Kofi Nkrabea, Obiaa Ba Nnye, Woyoo Woyoo, Mother, Mentumi Ngyae Wo, Agartha, Aye Se Ye Do Wo, Obra, Drivers, Anibere Nnye, Oman Bo Adwo, Kwaata, and others were popular.
